Waukesha County Health and Human Services provides a variety of services to enhance quality of life while assuring critical needs are met.

  • Birth to 3 provides early intervention services for children with developmental delays

  • Children’s Long Term Support helps children with disabilities and their families through funding supports and services that help children grow and live their best lives. 
    Children’s Community Options Program funds many supports and services that you can’t get through other insurance, Medicaid, or the Children’s Long-Term Support Program. It can also pay for a one-time need.

  • Crisis Intervention services provided include suicide assessment, other risk assessment, safety planning, crisis de-escalation, phone support, information and referrals, and crisis planning.

During non-business hours, contact Impact/2-1-1 via the Waukesha County hotline at (262) 547-3388 and ask to speak with a Waukesha County mental health crisis worker
 

  • Comprehensive Community Services(CCS) is a voluntary, recovery based, goal orientated program that serves children & adults with mental health, emotional disturbances and/or substance use disorders that are in need of ongoing case management services to meet and address barriers interfering with or limiting healthy functioning.

  • Coordinated Services Team (CST) is for children experiencing severe emotional disabilities. This program is designed to provide families with the needed support services which keep them intact, prevent out-of-home placements, and improve educational opportunities for children.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support, supplemental nutritious foods, and referrals to other health and nutrition services.
