Kenosha County Human Services provides a variety of programs to families, adults, and children that need assistance with mental health, substance abuse, and disability issues as well as promotion of health and safety of the whole community.

  • Birth to 3 is early intervention services for children with developmental delays.

  • Children’s Long Term Support  helps children with disabilities and their families through funding supports and services that help children grow and live their best lives.

  • Children’s Community Options Program fund many supports and services that you can’t get through other insurance, Medicaid, or the Children’s Long-Term Support Program. It can also pay for a one-time need.

  • Crisis Prevention/Intervention is available both in-person and phone service, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Crisis staff provides face-to-face interventions and/or phone counseling in crisis situations.

  • Comprehensive Community Services is a program that provides an array of community-based psychosocial rehabilitation services for children and adults who have a mental health and/or substance use diagnosis.

  • Families First (Wraparound) is for children experiencing severe emotional disabilities. This program is designed to provide families with the needed support services which keep them intact, prevent out-of-home placements, and improve educational opportunities for children.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support, supplemental nutritious foods, and referrals to other health and nutrition services.

Kenosha County Public Health Department provides a variety of community services including child and family health programs, reproductive health services, and public health clinics.

Kenosha Community Health Center offers Medical, Dental and Behavioral Health services at five clinic locations in Kenosha County. Sliding scale rates for those without health insurance.
